Like arabesques of ebony,The cypresses, in silhouette,Fantastically cleave and fretA moon of yellow ivory.
The coldly colored rays illumeA leafy pattern manifold,And all the field is overscrolledWith curiously figured gloom.
Like arabesques of ebony,Or like Arabian lattices,For ever seem the cypressesBefore a moon of ivory.
