Executive Order 11630 of October 30, 1971

Amending Executive Order No. 11627 of October 15, 1971, Further Providing for the Stabilization of the Economy


By virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and Statutes of the United States, particularly the Economic Stabilization Act of 1970, as amended, it is hereby ordered as follows:


Subsection (b) of Section 7 of Executive Order No. 11627 of October 15, 1971, is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following: “Each member of the Pay Board, other than the Chairman thereof, may designate an alternate who shall serve as a member of the Pay Board whenever the regular member is unable to attend any meeting of the Board.”


Subsection (b) of Section 8 of Executive Order No. 11627 of October 15, 1971, is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following: “Each member of the Price Commission, other than the Chairman thereof, may designate an alternate who shall serve as a member of the Price Commission whenever the regular member is unable to attend any meeting of the Commission.”
