Housley, Samuel John, M.A. (late fellow), Clare Coll., Camb., 1861, equity drafts-man and conveyancer, a student of the Inner Temple 9 Jan., 1856 (then aged 20), called to the bar 30 April, 1860 (eldest son of Samuel Housley, late of London, dec.); born , 1836; married 1st, 25 Sept., 1861, Mary Jane, 2nd dau. of John Stanning, Esq., of Lightbounds, near Bolton; she died , ; he married 2ndly, 23 May, 1882, Mary Emily, only dau. of O. H. Davis, Esq., of London.
