Leigh, Cholmeley Austen, B.A. (late fellow) Trin. Coll., Oxon, a member of council King's Coll., London, a student of Lincoln's Inn 17 Nov., 1852 (then aged 23), called to the bar 30 April, 1856 (eldest son of Rev. James Edward Austen Leigh, late vicar of Bray, Berks, dec.); born 26 Sept., 1829; mar. in Westminster Abbey 7 Jan., 1864, Melesina Mary, eldest dau. of Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Richard Chenevix Trench, D.D., late archbishop of Dublin, formerly dean of Westminster (see Foster's Peerage, B. Ashtown).
