Leigh, Hon. Edward Chandos, Q.C., M.A., Oriel Coll., Oxon, 1858, sometime fellow and sub-warden All Souls' Coll., Oxon, recorder of Nottingham since 1881, of Stamford 1864-81, counsel to speaker of House of Commons and examiner of election recognizances since 1883, J.P. CO. Warwick, late a revising barrister on the Midland circuit, educated at Harrow, a student of the Inner Temple 1 March, 1856 (then aged 23), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1859, Q.C., 21 March, 1881 (2nd son of Chandos, 1st Lord Leigh); born 22 Dec, 1832; married 1 June, 1871, Katherine Fanny, eldest dau. of late James Rigby, Esq., D.L., of Moss House, Lancashire, and has issue (see Foster's Peerage).
