Yarmouth 1857-9, Nottingham 1859-61, author of Suggestions as to Oaths, a student of the Inner Temple 5 June, 1828, called to the bar 7 June, 1833, Q.C. 8 July, 1851, bencher 21 Nov., 1851, serjeant-at-law 13 Jan., 1862 (son of John Mellor, of Leicester); born 1 Jan., 1809; married 24 Sept., 1833, Elizabeth, dau. of late William Moseley, Esq., and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
