Ord, Richard, M.A., Balliol Coll., Oxon, 1876, from Harrow, a member of the North-eastern circuit, J.P. co. Durham 1876, lord of the manor of Bradbury, co. Durham, a student of the Inner Temple 23 Nov., 1870 (then aged 21), called to the bar 6 June, 1874 (2nd son of late Mark Ord, Esq., of Sands Hall, Sedgefield, Co. Durham); born 16 Oct., 1849; married 3 Aug., 1882, May, only dau. of James Hornsby, Esq., of Honnington Hall, co. Lincoln, J.P., and has issue.
