The connected vowels (Symbol missingTelugu characters) u, (Symbol missingTelugu characters) a, (Symbol missingTelugu characters) i, (Symbol missingTelugu characters) ee, (Symbol missingTelugu characters) ĕ, (Symbol missingTelugu characters) ē, (Symbol missingTelugu characters) ŏ, (Symbol missingTelugu characters) ō, and (Symbol missingTelugu characters) uo, are written above the consonants to which they are attached; (Symbol missingTelugu characters) oo and (Symbol missingTelugu characters) oo are written to the right of them; (Symbol missingTelugu characters) roo and (Symbol missingTelugu characters) roo are placedpartly to the right side of consonants, partly below them; and of (Symbol missingTelugu characters) ue, the upper part is written above, the lower part below, the consonants.

14. When the initial vowels (Symbol missingTelugu characters) ŏ and (Symbol missingTelugu characters) ō are represented in their connected forms, by a compound of the letters (Symbol missingTelugu characters) ĕ and (Symbol missingTelugu characters) oo or (Symbol missingTelugu characters) oo; thus, (Symbol missingTelugu characters) ŏ and (Symbol missingTelugu characters) ō, wherein the (Symbol missingTelugu characters) e is written above, and the (Symbol missingTelugu characters) oo and (Symbol missingTelugu characters) oo, to the right side of the consonants.

15. The connected vowel (Symbol missingTelugu characters) loo is always written below the consonant to which it is attached.
