anti-typhoid inoculations was referred by the Secretary of State for War, reported to him on July 27, 1903, in the following terms:— "After careful scrutiny of the statistics from both official and private sources which have been made available, we are of opinion that not only is a lessened susceptibility to the disease brought about as a result of the inoculations, but that the case mortality is largely reduced."
4. A committee has recently been formed—and of this committee I have the honour to be a Member—to take up again in connection with the Army the consideration of anti-typhoid inoculation.
