CIVIL SERVICE OF CANADA

THE Civil Service Commission announces open competitive examinations for the following positions:

One Caretaker, Grade 2, Male, Department of National Defence, Lindsay, Ontario, Preference in appointment will be given to residents of Lindsay, Ontario. Time limit for receiving applications September 14, 1939.

Qualifications required:. Primary school education: ability to perform the general duties of a caretaker, and to take care of heating apparatus: dependability; good physical condition.

One Caretaker, Grade 2, Bilingual, Male, Department of National Defence, Valcartier, P.Q., Preference in appointment will be given to residents of Valcartier Camp and Valcartier Village, P.Q. Time limit for receiving applications September 14, 1939.

Qualifications required:. Primary school education; ability to perform the general duties of a caretaker, and to take care of heating apparatus; dependability: good physical condition; ability to speak, read and write the English and French languages.
