It is now in bad repair and owing to settle- ments is threatening to fall, and has been temporarily supported by wooden posts and beams. I have not been able to find a previously recorded description of the tomb. Mr. Rogers's Ancient Sepulchrtd Effigies of Devon^ published in 1877, only deals with monuments erected prior to 1550.
