Peter Sarin, cardinal of Spain ^ admitted by proxy 8th Aug. 1342. He had letters of protection 5th Feb.

William de Navesby had letters of ratification 5th Jan. 1351-299. He was one of the executors of the will of John de Gynewell, bishop of Lincoln, 20th June 1363 ^ He resigned shortly before his death.

Nicholas Slake, appointed 16th Oct. 1385, vice Na- vesby resigned -, and admitted on the 30th of the same month.

John de Herlaston, admitted nth March 1386-7. /^JoHN Ganville, appointed 22nd Feb. 1387 8 '3. rJWiLLiAM DE Newhagh, admitted loth July 1390'^. He was commissary of Thomas archbishop of Can- terbury in 1400. He resigned the archdeaconry in
