1522 Cuthbebt Tunstall, LL.D., master of the rolls and 4 11. viii. dean of Salisbury, was promoted to the see of London on the decease of bishop Fits-James, by papal provi- sion, and the temporalities were restored to him 5th July 1522 ', and again 7th Oct.- He was consecrated on the 9th, and installed on the 22nd of the same month 3 . He was appointed keeper of the privy seal 12th July 1523 ', and in March 1530 he was translated to Durham 5 .
