Walkeb King, M.A., archdeacon of Rochiitor\ nomi- nated 25th June 1827, and admitted 5th July, on the death of Dr. John Law. On the next voidance, this canonry becomes Btibject to the provisions respecting the endowment of archdeaconries contained in act 3 Sc 4 Vict. c. 1 13.

he died in 1544. Thomas Bull occurs in 1544 and 1545. John Venmay died in 1555. John Fennall, LL.D., succeeded ; instituted 15th

March 1555. John Ellis came in 1559 to this, and the deanery of

Hereford. He resigned in 1376. John Wulwabd, A.M., occurs in 1576. Walter Hayte or Heath held it in 1587 and 1607,

as did J. Read ie in 161 2 and 161 9 ; to whom succeeded Robert Cheeke, S.T.P., admitted 4th April 161 7 1 ?,

and held it in 1641. Benjamin Ceomp, A.M., instituted in 1660; died viii

Id. Mar. 16634, and was succeeded by Christopher Shute, S.T.P., succeeded in 1664; died

24th April 167 1, being archdeacon of St. Alban's, and

was succeeded by Francis Durant Breval, instituted in May 1671 ;

died in 1707, and was succeeded by
