PREBENDARIES. 363 Thomas Dent, S.T.P., was nominated 20th July, and installed 15th Sept.'^ 1694, vice Dr. Adam Littleton deceased. Ob. 31st Jan. 1721-2. William Payne, S.T.P., was nominated 29th Oct., and installed 5th Nov.^^ 1694, vice George Berkley deceased. He died in 1697. Richard Willis, S.T.P., was nominated 6th April, and installed 13 th April^i 1695, vice Richard Busby deceased. Afterwards bishop of Gloucester and of Salisbury. Samuel Barton, S.T.P., was appointed by patent loth Feb., and installed 13th Feb. 1696^^, on the death of Anthony Horneck. He died 15th Aug. 17 15, and was buried on the 23rd of the same month in the abbey. Richard Lucas, S.T.P., was appointed by patent 4th March, and installed 5th March 1696, on the death of William Payne ^3. Thomas Lynford, S.T.P., was appointed by patent 1st May, and installed 6th May 17008"^, on the death of Henry Killigrew. He became archdeacon of Ba- rum. He died nth Aug. 1724. Edward Gee, S.T.P., was nominated 27th Nov., and installed 6th Dec. 1701^^, vice Richard Annesley lord Altham^^. He died ist May 1729. Richard Martyn, S.T.B., was nominated 5th March 1 701-2, and installed 31st March 1702, vice Richard Willis made dean of Lincoln. His patent was re- newed by queen Anne 25th March 1702.
