Resigned on being made bishop of Carlisle in 1723. Lawrence Brodrick, S.T.P., was installed 17th July 1710, on the death of Peter Birch ^'J. Thomas Sprat, M.A., archdeacon of Rochester^ was in- stalled 29th Sept. 17 13, vice James De Sartre. He died loth May 1720. Robert Cannon, S.T.P., archdeacon of Norfolk, was installed 8th July 1 715 : void by the death of Richard Lucas. Joseph Wilcocks, D.D., nominated 20th Feb., and installed nth March 1720-21, vice William Craig deceased. He became bishop of Gloucester, and held this stall in commendam.
