Skinned the rat after dinner. Then we went up the mountain north of creek. Saw two western robins ((?)) and heard several more. Took another solitaire . I returned to skin the mice and birds, while John went to the Marchioness Tunnel and brought back two bats and an arctic towhee . I skinned and prepared the two bats and two mice. We had the phonograph running all evening. Has been windy today. Bright tonight, 20˚ above zero at 9:30 p.m.
