In 1894 he became a pastor at Pittsburg, Pa. Bashford, Coles, lawyer, state senator, governor, was born Jan. 24, 1816, near Cold Spring, N.Y. In 1852-56 he was a member of the Wisconsin state senate; and in 1855-57 was governor of Wisconsin. In 1863 he removed to Arizona; and was attorney-general of that territory in 1864-66. In 1867-69 he was a delegate from Arizona to the fortieth congress; and appointed secretary of Arizona in 1869. He died April 25, 1878, in Cold Spring, N.Y. city. In 1884-85 and since 1893 he has been professor in the law school of the state university of Wisconsin. In 1892-96 he was a member of the Wisconsin state senate.

He is the author of Outlines of Rural Hygiene Baskervill, William Malone, educator, author, was born on April 1, 1850, in Fayette oounty, Tenn.
