COTTAGE

ARCHITECTURE .

BY WILLIAM H. HALL, ARCHITECT .

ENGLISH COTTAGE. THE above design is in the English cottage style of architecture, which flourished in the middle ages ; but the plan is made simple and cheap, and adapted to the wants of a moderate family, and will allow of such small deviations and alterations in the interior as will best accord

with the tastes of the builder. A hilly country will afford the best location for a cottage in this style. The estimated cost, with plain finish, is twelve hundred dollars. The accompanying plans explain the interior arrangements.
