Horfcs, Cart, Waggon, or other Beafts, or Carriages conveying the fame, fiiall be forfeited and loll: : Andpcnalty. the Perfon or Perfons carrying, driving, aiding, or abctiing the fame, fnall fuifer and forfeit in fuch Man- ner as by the Laws and Statutes now in Force againft the bxportation of Wooll is provided. Provided always, and it ia hereby cnacfted and declared, That the foregoing Claufe is not intended, perrons carrv- norfhallbe conftrued to extend to the hindring any Perfon or Perfons from carrying his or their Woolii„gWonM from the Place of {hearing the fame, on Horfes, or by Carts and Waggons, to his or tlieir own Dwelling- fffm fearing, houfe or Houfes, or Out-lioufes thereunto belonging, though the fame be within live Miles or lefs of the"' """>' "• Sea, fo as fuch Perfon or Perfons within ten Days after the llieanng of the faid "Wooll, and before lie or they remove or otherwife difpofe of the fame, or any Part thereof, from th-; Place where it was firft car- ried after [hearing, do under his or their Hands certify to the Officers of the Cuftoms in the next adjacenc Port ihe true Qiiantity of the faid Wooll (that is to fay) of the Number of Fleeces, and where the fame fs houfed, and that fuch Perfon or Perfons do not remove or otherwife difpofe of the faid Wooll to any other Place, without firft certifying the Officer of fuch Port, under his or their Hands, of his Inteniion to remove the fame three Days at leaft before fuch Reinoval. fV, And be it further ena£ted by the Authority aforefaid. That all Cocquets for carrying Wooll from Co any Port within the Kingdom of England, Dominion of Wales, or from the Port of Berwick upon T'awii, Certificate fhall be written upon Paper, and not Parchment, and. figned by three of the chief Officers of fuch refpec- '1°"' '" ^' s tive Poitat leaft; and all Certificates of landing the fame again in any other of the faid Ports, or froin the'" Kino-dom of Ireland, ftiall be figned in like Manner ; and that all fuch Wooll, both at {hipping and land- ing, {hall be weighed in the Prefence of the faid Officers giving fuch Cocquets and Certificates refpedtive- ly ; and that the exadl: Weight, Marks, and Numbers of fuch Wooll, fo {hipped and landed, {hall be like- ! wife particularly exprelTed in both Cocquet and Certificate. _ V.
