Jiament; or fhall deliver out, or caufe or procure to be delivered out, Tickets to the Perfons advancing fuch Sums to entitle them to a Share of the Money fo advanced according to fuch Propofals or Schemes; or fliall make, print or publifh, or caufe to be made, printed or publioied, any Propofal or Scheme of the like Kind or Nature, under any Denomination, Name or Title whatsoever; and fhall be thereof convifted upon. the Oath or Oaths of one or more credible: WJtnefs or WitnelTes, by two or more Juftices of the Peace of the County, Divifion or Liberty where fuch Offence fhall be committed, or the Offender fliall be found (which Oath fuch juftices of the Peace are hereby impowered and required to adminifter) the Perfon fo convifted fliall for every fuch Offence, over and above any former Penalties inflicted by any former Aft or Afts of Parliament made againft any private or unlawful Lotteries, forfeit the Sum of five hundred Pounds, one third Part thereof to his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeffors, one other third Part thereof 10 the Informer, and the remaining third Part thereof to the Poor of the Parifh where fuch Of- fence fliall be committed; the fame to be levied by Diftrefs and Sale of the Offender's Goods, by War- rant under the Hands and Seals of fuch Juftices before whom fuch Offender fliall be convifted as afore- faid; and fliall alfo for every fuch Offence by fuch Juftices be committed to the County-Gaol, there to remain without Bail or Mainprize for the Space of one whole Year, and from thence till the faid Sum of five hundred Pounds, fo forfeited as aforefaid,. fliall be fully paid and fatisfied : Provided neverthelefs, that any Perfon who fhall think himfelf or herfelf aggrieved by the Judgment or Determination of two or Perfons aggrieved raore f ucn Juftices, in any the Cafes aforefaid, fliall have Liberty to appeal to the next Quarter-Seffions may appeal to t0 ^ c j^ij j or t ^ e c ount y 5 Q; t y or p] ace w here fuch Judgment or Determination fliall be made or given; gaiter - ions. ^^ ^^ ^ J uf jg me nt to be given by the Juftices at the faid next Quarter-Seffions fhall be final.
