And be it enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That every Maker or Curer of Red Herrings, from Curer of Red ' and after the twenty-fifth Day of March one thoufand feven hundred and twenty-two, before he remove He! 7i nss : aft " any Red Herrings (except for Exportation) from the Office or Place where the fame mail be cured, fhall tcfore^he remove from Time to Time make Entry thereof at the next Salt-Office, and fhall pay to his Majefty, his Heirs them (except for and Succeffors, a Duty of one Shilling and eight Pence for every thoufand of Red Herrings fo to be re- Exportation) to moved, and fo in Proportion for a greater or lefTer Quantity : And that in cafe fuch Red Herrings fhall make Entry, and be packed or put up in Casks, then the Number of Herrings in each Cask fhall be marked on the Head pay is. Entry, &c. III.
