XXXII. And be it enacted, That out of the faid Aids or Supplies there fhall and may be from Time to Provifion for Time iflued and applied, fuch Sum or Sums of Money as fliall be necefLVy for and towards the Payment augmenting the of fuch additional Number of Seamen, as his Majefly fhall think fit to employ for the Service of the Year Fk« in 17261 one thoufand feven hundred and twenty-fix, and for and towards anfwering and defraying fuch Expences and Engagements as have at any Time been or fhall before or until the twenty- fifth Day of December one thoufand feven hundred and twenty-fix, be made by his Majefty, in concerting fuch Meafures as he in his great Wifdom thinks will beft conduce to the Security of the Trade and Navigation of this Kingdom, and the Prefervation of the Peace of Europe. XXXIII. And be it enaded, That the faid Aids or Supplies provided as aforefaid fhall not be iflued Limitation of or applied to any Ufe, Intent or Purpofe wbatfoever, other than the Ufes and Purpofes before-men- thefc Supplies, tioned, or for the feveral Deficiencies before directed to be fatisfied out of the faid Loans or Fxchequer- Bills, by any particular Claufe or Claufes for that Purpofe contained in this Adft or in any other Aft of this prefent Seffion of Parliament. XXXIV. And as to the faid Sum of feventy-three thoufand Pounds, by this Act appropriated on Ac- what Perfons count of Half-pay as aforefaid, it is hereby enacted and declared by the Authority aforefaid, That the Rules are inriti dto herein after prefcribed fhall be duly obferved in the Application thereof; that is to fay, That no Perfon fliall Half pay- have or receive any Part of the fame, who was a Minor under the Age of fixteen Years at the Time when TheSurp'.us of the Regiment, Troop or Company in which he ferved, was reduced ; that- no Perfon fhall have or receive ,his s ">» •* any Part of the fame, except fuch Perfons that no Perfon having any other Place or have or receive any Part of the Half-pay : Ecclefiaftical Benefice or other Preferment in Great Britain or Ireland., fliall have or receive any of the faid Halfrpay; that no Perfon fliall have or receive any Part of the fame, who liath refigned his Ceirrnifficn, and has had no Ccmmiffian fince; that no Part of the fame fliall be allowed to any Perfon, by Virtue of any Warrant or Appointment, except to fuch Perfons who would have been otherwife entitled to the fame as reduced Officers; and that no Part of the fame fhall be allowed to, any of the Officers of the five Regi- 4 E 2 ments inch he ierved, was reduced; that- no rerlon fhall have or receive ,hTS »um «  ns who did actual Service in fome Regiment, Troop or Company; : '?P r j prlat -' i > • Imployment of Profit, Civil or Military, under his Majefty, fhall j; 3 ,"" ' '" c ' ■ ; that no Chaplain of any Garrifon or Regiment, who has any
