And whereas by an Act of Parliament made in the eleventh Year of his Majefty's Reign, foT v continuing the Duties on Malt, Mum, Cyder and Perry, to raife Money for the Service of the Year one ' thoufand ieven hundred and twenty-five, and for other Purpofes therein expreffed, feveral Supplies which ' had been granted to his Majefty, as is therein mentioned, were appropriated to feveral Ufes and Purpofes ' therein exprefTed, among which any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding feventy-feven thoufand ' Pounds upon Account of Half-pay, for the Year one thoufand ieven hundred and twenty-five, was ap- 1 propriated to be paid to the reduced Officers of his Majefty's Land-Forces and Marines, fubject never- ' thelefs to fuch Rules to be obferved in the Application of the faid Half-pay, as in and by the aforefaid ' Act were prescribed in that Behalf:' Now it is' hereby provided, enacted and declared, by the Authority aforefaid, That fo much of the faid Sum of feventy-feven thoufand Pounds, as is or lliall be more than fuf- frcierit to fatisfy the faid reduced Officers, according to the faid Rules by the faid Act prefcribed to be ob- Overplusof ferved in the Application thereof, or any Part of fuch Overplus, fhall or may be difpofed to fuch Officers Half-pay, how who are maimed or loft their Limbs in the late Wars, or to fuch others by Reafon of their long Service, to be applied. or otherwife, his Majefty fhall judge to be proper Objects of Charity, or to the Widows or Children of" fuch Officers, according to fuch Warrant or Warrants under his Majefty's Royal Sign Manual as fhall be figned in that Behalf; any Thing in this Act or the faid former Act to the contrary notwithftanding. HERE AS the feveral Highways, Streets or Roads leading from the feveral Gates and the Bridge of the City of Worcejler, to Cudley Heath., in the Parifh of Warndon, in the County of WorceJler y being one Mile and an Half, or thereabouts, and to a Bridge called Stoneboiv-Bridge in the faid County, being four Miles, or thereabouts, and from a Place called The Yewtree in the Parifh of Spetchly, to Upton Snodfbury, in the faid County, being two Miles, or thereabouts, and from the faid City of ' Tvorcejler to a Place called Aylejborough Far?n in the faid County, being fix Miles, or thereabouts, and to a Place called ' Seavern Stoak, in the faid County, being four Miles, or thereabouts, and to a Place called The Rid Green, ' in the Parifh of Hanley Caftle in the faid County, being four Miles, or thereabouts, and to a Place called 6 The Link, in the Parifh of Great Malvern, in the faid County, being four Miles, or thereabouts, and to a ' Place called The High Ladder Stile, in the Parifh of Leigh in the faid County, being five Miles, or there- ' abouts, and to a Place called Hereford/hire Lake, in the" Parifh of Knightwick in the faid County, being fix ' Miles, or thereabouts, and to a Place called Hombridge, in the Parifh of Marily in the faid County, being ' fix Miles, or thereabouts, and to a Place called The Hundred Houfe, in the Parifh of Great Whitley in the ' faid County, being fix Miles, or thereabouts, and to a Place called The Mitre Oak, in the Parifh of Hartle- ' bury in the faid County, being fix Miles, or thereabouts, by Reafon of the Soil thereof, and the heavy f Carriages paffing through the fame, are become fo ruinous, &c."
