An Aft for holding the Summer Affizes and Seffions of the Peace, for the County of Norfolk, in the City and County of Norwich, until a new Shire Houfe can be built for the faid County oi Norfolk ; and for building a new Shire Houfe on the Caftle Hill in the fame County j and for raifing Money on the faid County for that Pur- pofe. 22. An Aft for building a Bridge crofs the River Thames, from the Parifh oiWaltham upon Thames in the County of Surrey, to Shepperton'm the County of Afiddlefex. 23. An Aft for repairing the Road leading from Cirencejler in the County of Gloucefier, to Birdlip's Hill in the laid County. 24. An Aft for the better fecuring the Payment of Shares of Prizes taken from the Enemy, to the Royal Hofpital zt Greemvich ; and for preventing the Embezzlement of Goods and Stores belonging to the faid Hofpital. 25. An Aft for repairing the High Road leading from the Town of Stockton upon Tees, to Darlington, and from thence through Winjhn to Barnard Cafile, in the fame County. 26. An Aft for reviving and continuing an Aft pafled in the fixth Year of the Reign of his late Majefty King George the Filft, intituled, An Aii for laying a Duty of two Penny Scots, or one fixth Part of a Penny Sterling, upo7i every Scots Pitit of Beer or Ale vended or fold within tiie Town of Bruntifland, and Liberties thereof, for increa- fiHg the puhlick Revenue of the faid Toivn, and for other Purpofes therein ?nentioned. 27. An Aft for founding and building a Chapel in JVednef- fuld, in the Parifh of Wolverhampton, in the County of Stafford. 28. An Aft for repairing the Road leading from Catherick Bridge, in the County of JorX-, to Y'ttrin in the faid Coun- ty ; and from thence to Stockton in the County of Dur- ham; and from thence through Sedgeficld, in the faid County of Durham, to the City of I)urham. 29. An Aft to confirm an Agreement made by the Reftor and Veftry-men of the Pariln of Saint James, within the Liberty of IVeftminfier, for enlarging the. Churchyard of the faid Parilli ; and for other Purpofes therein men- tioned. 30. An Aft for allowing Perfons impeached of High Trea- fon, whereby any Corruption of Blood may be made, or for Mifprifion of fuch Treafon, to make their full De- fence by Council. 31. An Aft for continuing the Term, and enlarging the Powers granted by an Act pafTed in the twelfth Year of his late Majefty's Reign, intituled, An Aci for repairing and widening the Reads from the City of QsXouct'Hizx to the City of Hereford ; and for repairing other Roads in the County of Gloucfler. .32. An Aft for uniting the two Colleges of Saint Salvator and Saint Leonard, in the Univerfity of Saint Andrews^ purfuant to an Agreement for that Purpofe. 33. An Aft to enable the Parifhioners of the Parifh of Saint Andrevj Holhorn, in the City of London and County of Middlefex, to purchafe a convenient Piece of Ground, for an additional Burying-ground, for the Ufe of the faid Parifli ; and to enable the faid Parifhioners to raife fuch Sum and Sums of Money, as iliall be necelTary for that Purpofe. 34. An Aft to enable his Majefty to allow to the Refiduary Legatees of Sir y_o/2'/)^j'_f/f'y/ Knight, late Mafter of the Rolls, deceafed. Part of the Legacy given by his Will to the Ufe of the Sinking Fund. 35. An Aft to indemnify Perfons who have omitted to re- giflrer their Letters of Attorney, appointing them Agents for Prizes, within the Time limited by Law; and for al- lowing further Time for that Purpofe. 36. An Aft for granting to his Majefty a certain Sum of Money out of the Siyiking Fund, for the Service of the Year one thoufand feven hundred and forty feven ; and alfo for enabling his Majefty to raife a further Sum of Money for the Ufes and Purpofes therein mentioned ; and for the further appropriating the Supplies granted in this SeiTion of Parliament; and for applying a certain Sum of Money, for defraying the Charge of the Allow- ances to feveral Officers and private Gentlemen of the two Troops of Horfe Guards, and three Regiments of Horfe, lately reduced, for the Y"ear one thoufand feven hundred and forty feven; and for continumg the Boun- ties on the Exportation of Britijli and Irijli coarfe Linens. 37. An Aft for granting a Duty to his Majefty to be paid by Diftillers, upon Licences taken out by them for re- tailing Spirituous Liquors. 40. An Aft to revive, continue and amend an Aft made in the ninth Year of the Reign of his late Majefty Kisg George the Firft, intituled. An ASl for clearing, deptben- ing, repairing, extending, maintaining and improving the Haven and Piers of Great Yarmouth ; and for depthcning and making more navigable the feveral Rivers emptying ihem- f elves at the faid Town ; and alfo for preferving Ships win- tering in the faid Havei:, from Accidents by Fire. 41.
