Board, or c^ufc to be loaden or put on Board of any Ship, VefTcl or Boat which (hall not be bound direclly to tome Port or Place in Great Britain or Ireland, or to feme other of the Do:;)i::ions of the Crown oi Great Britain, any fuch Tools or Ute^fils as are commonly ufed in, or are proper for the preparing, working up, or fi.nifliiqg of the Woollen or Sill: Manufactures, or any or either of them, or any Parts or Parcels of fuch Tools or Utenfils, by what Name or Names fuch Tools or Utenfils fhall or may be called or known, the Perfon or Perfons fo offending fliall, for every fuch Offence, not only forfeit and lofe all fuch Tools and Utenfils, or, Parts or Parcels thereof, which fliall be fo loaden or put on Board r4s aforefaid, but alfotheSuni of two hundred Pounds of lawfid Money of Great Britain, to be recovered by Action of Debt, Bill, Plaint or'Infcirmation,' in any of his Majefty's Courts of Record at Wcjhninjhr, or in the Court of Seflion in Scot- land, dr-in-^ny-cJf tht' four Courts at- Z>/(Z>/»i refpeSively, v/herein no EiToin, Protection, Privilege or Wa- gi^r of L^ivv ■fliall be allov'ed,.or more than one Imparlance. IV. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid. That from and after the faid twenty-fourth Day 'ai.Jiine one thoufand feven hundred and fifty, it fhall and may be lawful to and for any Officer of his Ma- jefty's Cuftoms in Great Britain, and for any Officer of the Revenue in Ireland, to feize and fecure in fome or one of his R/lajefty's Warehoufes, all fuch Tools or Utenfils by this Act prohibited to be exported, as fuch OSicei- fliall find or diTcovcr to be laid or put on Board of any Ship, Vefi'el or Boat, which fhall not be,i)ound (lirefSlly to fome Port or Place in Great Britain or Ireland, or to fome other of the Dominions of the Crdwn of GrW? Sr/Vij/??," and that every Officer who fhall feize and fecure any of the faid Tools or Utenfils, .fliall be fully and abfolutely indemnified for fo doing ; and all Tools or Utenfils fo feizcd and fe- cured as aforefaid, (hall, after Condemnation thereof, in due Courfe of Law, be publickly fold to the beft Bidder, aqd one Moiety of the Produce arifing by the 'Sale of fuch Tools and Utenfils, fhall be to the Ufe of his Majefly, )iis Heirs and Succefibrs, and the other Moiety to the Officer who fhall feize and fecure the' fame as aforefaid. y. And be it further enafted by the Authority aforefaid, Thit from and after the faid twenty-fourth Day ofyvnepne thoufand feven hundred and fifty, if the Captain or Mafter of any Ship, Veflel or Boat, in Great brit^iin'or Ireland, fhall knowingly permit any of the faid Tools or Utenfils by this Act prohibited to be exported as aforefaid, to be put on Board his faid Ship, Vefiei or Boat, every fuch Captain or Mafter fliall, for every, fuch Offence, forfeit the Sum of one hundred Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britair,, to be fued for and recovered in the fame Manner as the Penalties by this A£l inflicted upon Perfons export- ing the faid Tools or Utenfils are to be fued for and recovered ; and if the faid Ship, Veflel or Boat belo.iga to his Majefty, his Heirs or Succeflbrs, then the Captain or Maflrer thereof fliall not only forfeit the Sum of one hundred Pounds of lawful Money oi Great Britain, to be fued for and recovered as aforefaid, but fl;all j;lfo forfeit his Employment, and be incapable of any Office or Employment under his Majefty, his Heirs or Succeflbrs, ; yi. And be it further enaded by the Authority aforefaid. That if any Cuftomer, Comptroller, Surveyor, Searcher, Waiter or other Officer of the Cuftoms in Great Britain, or any Officer of the Revenue in Ire- land, fliall take, or knowingly or willingly fuffer to be taken, any Entry outward, or fliall fign any Cocket, Warrant or Sufferance for the fliipping or exporting of any of the faid Tools or Utenfils by this Act pro- hibited to be exported, or fliall knowingly or willingly permit or fuffer the fame to be done, directly or in- direftly, contrary to the true, Inteqt and Meaning of this A6t ; every fuch Cuflomer, Comptroller, Sur- veyor, Searcher, Waiter or other Officer of the Cuftoms in Great Britain, or Officer of the Revenue in Ireland (o offending, fliall forfeit the Sum of one hundred Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britai?!, to be ,fued for and recovered as aforefaid ; and fliall alfo forfeit his Otlce, and be incapable of any Office or Em- ployment under his Majefty, his Heirs or Succeflbrs. VII. And be it further enabled by the Authority aforefaid, 1 hat one Moiety of the refpedlive Forfei- tures by this Aft infli£ted upon Offendeis againft the fame, fliall, when recovered, go and be applied to the Ufe of his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeffors, and the other Moiety to the Ufe of the Perfon or Perfons who fhall fue and profecute for the .farne refpeftively. VIII.
