And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That all and every the Claufes, Provi- claufes, &c. in the faia foes Powers, Privileges Advantages, Penalties, Forfeitures, and Difabilities contained in the faid Act relating to Loans laft 'mentioned Aft relating to the Loans or Exchequer Bills authorized to be made by the fame Act or Exchequer Bills, (except fiich Claufes as do charge the fame on the Taxes granted by the fame A£t, and except fuch Claufes as limit the Rate of Intereft to be paid for the Forbearance of Money lent on the Credit of the faid Act, and alfo except as is herein after mentioned) fhall be applied and extended to the extended to this Act. Loans and Exchequer Bills to be' made in purfuance of this Act, as fully and effectually, to all In- tents and Purpofes, as if the fame Loans or Exchequer Bills had been originally authorized by the faid laft mentioned Act, or as if the faid feveral Claufes or Provifoes had been particularly repeated and re-enacted in the Body of this Act. III. Provided always, and be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That no Exchequer Exchequer Bills fo iffued Bill or Bills to be made out by virtue of this Act fhall, after the fame hath or have been iffued at not to be tendered or re- the Exchequer, be afterwards at any Time before the fixth Day of April one thoufand feven hun- "' "gp^f.^axM " y dred and fixty-four received or taken, or pafs or be current to any Receiver or Collector in Great before 6 Apni 1764"' Britain, of the Cuftoms, Excife, or any Revenue, Supply, Aid or Tax whatfoever due or payable to his Majefty, his Heirs or Succeffors, or at the Receipt of the Exchequer, from any fuch Receiver or Collector, or from any other Perfon or Perfons, Bodies Politick or Corporate, otherwife or on unlefs the fame (hall be any other Account than for the Difcharge and Cancelling of fuch Bills, in cafe the fame fhall be in > n Courfe of Payment due Courfe or Order of Payment before the faid fixth Day of April; nor fhall any fuch Receiver or before the ' ald "^ Collector exchange, at any Time before the faid fixth Day of April, for any Money of fuch Reve- nues, Aids, Taxes or Supplies in his Hands, any Exchequer Bill or Bills, which fhall have been iffued as aforefaid, by virtue of this Act ; nor fhall any Action be maintained againft any fuch Receiver or Collector for neglecting or refufing to exchange any fuch Bill or Bills for ready Money, before the faid fixth Day of April ; any Thing in the faid Act made in this prefent Sefliou of Par- liament, intituled, An Aft for continuing and granting to his Majefty certain Duties upon Malt, Mium, Cyder and Perry, for the Service of the Year one thoufand feven hundred and ftxty-three, or this Act, con- tained to the contrary notwithftanding. IV. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That all fuch Loans or Exchequer The fame to he repaid Bills, together with the Intereft, Premium, Rate and Charges incident to or attending the fame, out of the firft Supplies fhall be, and are hereby charged and chargeable upon, and ihall be repaid or borne by or out of the . wh "j h fta'i be granted the firft Aids or Supplies which fhall be granted in the next Seflion of Parliament ; and in cafe fuffi- ,n ' cient Aids or Supplies for that Purpofe fhall not be granted before the fifth Day of fuly one thoufand feven hundred and fixty-four, then all the laid Loans or Exchequer Bills, with the Intereft, Premium, Rate and Charges incident to or attending the fame, fhall be, and are hereby charged and chargeable upon fuch Monies as at any Time or Times at or after the laid fifth Day of fuly fhall be or remain or out of the Sinking in the Receipt of the Exchequer, of the Surpluffes, ExceiTes, Overplus Monies, and other Revenues Fund, if no Supplies he compofing the Fund commonly called The Sinking Fund (except fuch Monies of the faid Sinking 6«"^d before 5 >iy Fund as are appropriated to any particular Ufe or Ufes by any Act or Acts of Parliament in that Behalf) ; and fuch Monies of the faid Sinking Fund fhall and may be iffued and applied, as foon as the fame can be regularly ftated and afcertained, for and towards paying off, cancelling, and difchafging, fuch Loans or Exchequer Bills, Intereft, Premium, Rate or Charges, until the Whole of them fhall be paid off, cancelled and difcharged, or Money fufficient for that Pur- pofe be kept and referved in the Exchequer, to be payable on Demand to the refpective Pro- prietors thereof. V. Provided always, and it is hereby enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That all the Monies The Monies aiifing by coming into the Exchequer, either by Loans or Exchequer Bills, upon one Act of this Seilion of the Malt Act ; Parliament, intituled, An Aft for co?itinuing and granting to his Majefty certain Duties upon Malt,- Mum, Cyder and Perry, for the Service of the Tear one thoufand feven hundred and fixty-three, and fo much Money, if any fuch be, of the Duties thereby granted, as fhall arife or remain after all the Loans or Exchequer Bills made or to be made on the fame Act, and all thelntereft, Premium, Rate and Charges thereon, and the Charges thereby allowable for raifing the faid Duties, fhall be fatisfied, or Money fufficient fhall be referved in the Exchequer to fatisfy and difcharge the fame ; and alfo all the Monies coming into the Exchequer, either by Loans or Exchequer Bills, upon one other G a A<&
