She m. secondly (as liis second wife), 1315, Theobald (de Verdon), Loud Verdon (1299). He d. B.p.m. 1316. She in. thirdly Roger (D'Amorik), Lord D'Amorie (1317-1322), who was Lord of Armoij in to. Antrim [I.] He was attainted in 1322, and d. the same year, being bur. at Ware Priory, Herts. His Irish estates were restored to his widow. She was the Foundress of " Clare Hall," Cambridge, to which, in 1359, she gave a Code of statutes. She tl. 4 Nov. 1360. Elizabeth, suo jure Countess of Ulster [I.], Lady of Clare, &c, grand-daughter and h. being then aged 22 years. She was only da. and h. of William (de Buhuh), Earl ok Ulster [I.], who was s. and h. ap. of the above-named Elizabeth, Lad}' of Clare (by her 1st husband), which William (tho' heir to his Father and Grandfather abovenained) d. v.m. 6 June 1333. She m., when very young, Lionel Plantaoenet, 3rd s. of King Edward III, who in her right became Earl ok Ulster [I.] and who, after her succession to the honour of Clare, wan, 13 Nov. 1302, err. Rita iard (Plant agenet), Duke of^ s s &c, nephew and h., being only s. and h. of Richard, Earl ok Cam- iiridoe, by Ann, his 1st wife, eldest sister of Edmond (Mortimer), Earl ok March, Lord of Clare, he, abovenained, at whose death he was aged 14.
