Tyrone. His widow m. Sir Phelim O'Keil who in the rebellion of 1041 had taken her prisoner and burnt her Castle of Strabane. III. 1C38. o. [S.] He d. unni. 1690, being outlawed (after his death) 11 May 1691. VI. 1690. 6. Charles (Hamilton), Earl of Abercorn, &c. [S.], also Babon Hamilton of Strabane [I.], br. and h., obtained a reversal of his brother's outlawly, 24 May 1692, and took his seat in the House of Lords [I.], 31 Aug. 1695. James Hamilton, who was s. and h. ap. of Sir George Hamilton, 4th s. of the 1st Earl of Abercorn. He sue. to the Irish peerage (under the spec. ran. in its creation) as heir male of the body of the grantee's father, the said 1st Earl. He was cr. 2 Sep. 1701, BARON MOUNTCASTLE, co.
