Richard (St. Maur), Loud Saint Maur, or Seymour, br. and h., was aged 19 in (1374), 48 Ed. III. He was sum. to Pari , from 26 Aug. (13S0), 4 Itic. II., to 3 Oct. (1400), 2 Hen. IV., by writs directed " Richardo Seymour."^) He was in the French wars in the retinue of the Earl of Arundel. He m. Ela, da. and coheir of Sir John St. Lo. He d. 15 May (1 101), 2 Hen. Richard (St. Maur), T.ohd St. Maur, or Seymour, s. and h., aged 23 at the death of his father in 1401. He Berved iu the wars with France. He was sum. from 21 June (1402) 3 Hen. IV. to 26 Aug. (1408) 8 Hen. IV. by writs directed "Richardo Seymour." () He m. Mary, widow of John Broughton (who </. about 1406-07), da. and h. of Thomas Pf.vkr, of Todding- ton, Beds, by Margaret, da. and coheir of Sir Nigel Loring, K.G. He d. s.p.ru. 6 Jan. 1408/9. Jng. post mortem 10 Hen. IV. His widow had lie. in 1410 to marry "Hugh Mortimer, Esq." VII. 1409. 5. Alice St. Maur, posthumous da. and h. iU> jure, according to the now theory, suo jure Baroness Saint Maur ; b. 24 July 1409 in the house of Thomas Cressy, Cit. and Mercer of London in the parish of St. Laurence in Cripplegate ward, and bap. there. She made proof of age in 1424, being then married to William (La Zoucue), Lord Zouche de Harynciwortii, who d. 3 Nov. (1415) 3 Hen. V. She d. (1425-26) 4 Hen. VI. VIII. 1426. 6. William (La Zouche) Lord Zouche de Haryng- worth and Lord Saint Maur, s. and h., sue. his father in 1415 iu in the first-named Barony, being then aged 3 years, and sue. his mother iu 1426 in the Barony of Saint Maur. See " Zouche de Haryngworth," Barony, cr. 1308 with which dignity the Barony of Saint Maur continued united till 1625, when they both fell into abeyance. • (•) See p. 23, note "c" as to the possibility of his haviug no right to such summons. ( b ) On the death s.p. of his said br. in 1358 he would have been entitled to any hereditary Barony constituted by the writ of summonB in 1313 to their comrnou father. ( c ) It seems not improbable that his summons to Pari, may have been, as probably was that of his father (p. 23, note " c *'), owing to this alliance.
