Whether this miſerable Creature ſaw any ſuch Apparition or not, or whether it was the Will of God that the should imagine ſhe ſaw and heard what in effect was nothing, I will not pretend to determine; but it is plain that Divine Juſtice, who ſeldom ſuffers Murder to go unpunished, even on Earth, was very viſible
