And that they conveenc , to the effecT: above- written, upon the penult day of October next-to-come, intheycareof G O D, one thoufand , fixhundreth, tvvcntieone years: which is declared to be the precife day appoynted for all their Vaffalles, Fewars, Tackfmen, and Penfioners, to keep the faid Meeting. And that no farther Citation , nor Summonding , fhall be requifite, than the Proclamation and Publication of this prefent Act , at the Market- Crofles of the Head-Burrowes of this Realme. A N D H E R E W I T H It is refoived , by the faids ESTATES, That if any Vaflal , Sub-vaflal , Fewar, Tackef man of Tcyndes , Penfioner, or any other, juftly bound to make reliefe to the Prelate, Lord of Erection , Patron, or other Beneficed Perfon, of any part of the laid Taxation: Shall fend any pro- curatoures in his name , fufficiently authorized , ; to the faid Meeting : The fame fhall not onely excufe the abfence of the principal partie : but the procuratour in all thinges fhall bee admitted , and receaved , to doe , and perforate, in the Diftribution of the faid Taxation , what could, or lawfully might have been done by him who fent him. IT IS in like manner declared, That the Prelate , Lord of Erection, Patron, or other beneficed perfon, impeded by difcafe , or detracted upon fome other neceflarie occafion, from at- tending that Meeting, having his abfence fupplyed that day, by any fufficient, worthy perfon , whom hee fhall appoynt, and authorize , tothatetFecl:, Shall bee as lawful , as if hee were perfonally prefent himfelfe. And the partie fo authorized, fhall bee admitted, and receaved, in all thinges to doe, and performe in the diftribution of the fame Taxation, what could, or lawfully might have been done , by him who fent him. IT IS Farther ftatutcd , and ordained, That at the faid day of Meeting, the faids Prelates, Lordes of Ereclions, Patrones, and other beneficed perfons, lhall by themfelves , or their Procuratours lawfully authorized, as faid is, fenfe and holde a Court , call by Name, and Sur-narne , upon every one of their Vaflals, Sub-vaflals, Fewars, Tackef- men of Teynds, penfioners, and others, obiiihed to relieve them of any part of the fame Taxation : And lawful time of day beeing bidden , fhall fhew to their faids Vaflalles, Fewars, Tackef-men, and Penfioners , or their procuratours compeiring for them , the quantitie of the Taxation impofed upon their Prelacie , erected Lordihip , or other Benefice, authentickly fubfcribed by the Clerk of the fame Taxation. And they all , at the leaft fo many of them as fhall conveene for this effecl , with JDneconfent, fhall diftribute the fame to be payed by every man, as well by the Prelate , LordofEre&ion, (and prefent pofleflbur of fmall benefices, for the free rent that everyone of them hath of their Prelacies, brefted Lordfhips , and fmall benefices, as by the Vaflal , Fewar, Tackef-man, and penfioner , accord- ling to the great or fmai quantitie of free rent which every one of them hath , either of their Landes , Teinds , brpenfions.
