Take my yoke upon you and learn of he, for I am "meek and lowly of heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls," Matt. xi. 28, 20. But beware how you rifle with subjects of such momentous concern. “Behold now is the accepted time; and now is the day of salvation." He that cometh to Jesus shall never hunger: and he that believeth on him shall never thirst, John vi. 35. Oh, that he may never have it to say of any of you, Because I have called, and ye refused; I have streatched out my hand and ye regarded it not; but have set at nought all any counsel, and would none of my reproof; I also will laugh at your calamity, will mock when your fear cometh — because ye hated knowledge, and did not chuse the fear of the Lord," Prov. i. 24–29.



ON THE SHORTNESS AND IMPORTANCE OF TIME.




John iv. 14.— For what is your life? It is even a
vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then
vanisheth away.
