That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and re- ,,,”$,._° P ""” “ “ quired to prepare suitable standards in accordance herewith, vmmmaunwsa. Sec. 3. That in the practical use and applicatxon of the standard gauge hereby esabhshed a variation of two and one-half per cent, either way may be allowed. Approved, March 3, 1893.
