Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United {;:§;§°:'i§,‘§fgased_ States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place upon the pension roll the name of Lizzie Waltz, who was wounded on the first day of the battle of Gettysburg during a skirmish at Hanover, Pennsylvania, while giving food and administering to the wants of the Union soldiers, and who is now without means of support and physically incapacitated for any manual labor as a result of such wound, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of the pension which she now receives as widow of Levi Waltz, a private in Company D, First Battalion, Nineteenth Regiment United States Infantry, under certincate numbered three hundred and fifty-one thousand three hundred and thirty-eight.
