papers of the Territories of the United States now in the national archives.
Tmmms Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of _c0ue¤u¤p`mu can- the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the }§§u{’(f,j"§,“,§‘B*{,*§,,’,§‘§‘0‘{f Chief of Division of Publications of the Department of State Brotguest of e¤v¤r¤¤r¤· (hereinafter referred to as the editor), under the direction of ‘ the Secretary of State, and upon the request of the Governor of any State or of any organization duly authorized by him, is authorized and directed to have collected, edited, copied, and suitably arranged for publication, the official papers of the Territory from which such State was formed, now in the national archives, as listed in Parker’s “Calendar of Papers in Washington Archives Relating to the Territories of the United States (to 187 3) ," being publication numbered 148 of the Carnegie Institution of VVashington, together with such additional papers of like character d,P§§§{°,§‘§§0°ig,,§§§" that may be found. The heads of the several executive departments and independent establishments are directed to coo crate Editor wmmmdw with the editor in such work by_ giving access to the record; and empnoysasianepmrh- by providing facilities for having them copied. For the salaries of such_ persons and assistants and all other expenses incurred in connection with such work, there is hereby authorized to be appropriated the sum of $20,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1926, and the same sum for each of the two _ _ succeeding fiscal years. ¤,C°§§§;?_“,{‘§§f’“’¥f,€ Src. 2.
