Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United State s o f America in Congress assembled, That the salary of the envoy extraordinary and minister plenipotentiary of the United States to Liberia, when appointed, shall be $10,000 per annum, and section 1683 of the Revised Statutes and such portions of title 22, section 32, of the United States Code, as fixes the com- pensation of a minister resident and consul general to Liberia are hereby repealed.
