@Beeswaxcandle (talkcontribs): This difficult page («p. 573» = p. 595 on WS) of the Crystallography article refers to figs. 87 and 88, but these figures are shown only on a remote page («p. 583» = p. 605 on WS) of the Crystallography article, and «p. 583» is not specified on «p. 573»... So, it would be very useful to create a link from «figs. 87 and 88» on «p. 573» = p. 595 on WS to «File:EB1911 Crystallography - Figs 87 & 88 Crystal of Zircon.svg», wouldn't it? But are such links allowed on WS, please? And if they are allowed, how are such links technically created on WS, please? :-P In advance, thank you very much for your answers! There's a better way of doing this than linking to a file. I've put an anchor at Figure 87 on print page 583, then changed the reference on print page 573 to a link to that anchor. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 00:19, 20 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Beeswaxcandle (talkcontribs): Thank you very much for your answer, and for your adding an anchor and a link to that anchor. But this link doesn't work on my (recent) smartphone:
  • neither on my Samsung Internet browser:
    • neither on its mobile version,
    • nor on its PC version,
  • nor on my Chrome browser:
    • neither on its mobile version,
    • nor on its PC version,
  • nor on my Firefox browser:
    • neither on its mobile version,
    • nor on its PC version... :-P

It works in the mainspace article. It doesn't need to work in the Page: namespace. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 18:07, 20 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Beeswaxcandle (talkcontribs):Thank you very much for your latest answer. And indeed, for me too, it works in the mainspace article. 8-) JavBol (talk) 20:27, 20 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
