Front cover illustration

I have the original illustration for this book. It was by George Washington Hood, a prominent illustration artist. I've been searching for where it was published for many years. The original was framed by Taber Prange Art and Frame Shop in New York City. With this publication I am now able to date this painting as prior to 1904. Hello. Thanks very much for this offer. Unfortunately, this book was published in 1904 and does not contain the original painting, just its 1904 reproduction. However, you can upload it to our sister project Commons. --Jan Kameníček (talk) 22:25, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
