A PRAYER FOR 1903.
Father, in the year beginning, Grant us wisdom, grant us peace, Let all doubt and wrong diminish, And all hope and love increase.
Train our eyes to truer vision, Train our ears to know Thy voice, Let all nations be united And in noble deeds rejoice.
Let the bonds of sin be riven And the flag of war be furled,Let it be a year of victory In the history of the world.
