- His death. "Charles F. Freudenberg, 39, a salesman, died yesterday at his home, 282 Willow Avenue, Lyndhurst. Until his illness three year ago, he was an active member of Adonlram Lodge, F. and A. M. and the Lyndhurst Lodge of Elks. He was born in Hoboken and lived in Lyndhurst sixteen years. Surviving are his wife, Julia Buttomer Freudenberg; son, Charles, Jr. The Reverend Rowland F. Nye, pastor of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, Lyndhurst, will conduct the funeral service tomorrow."

- Death of his mother. "Mrs. Eloise Freudenberg, a Gold Star mother, died at her home, 92 Jefferson Avenue, Saturday from a heart ailment, she was 74. Born in New York she had lived in Hudson City the past 35 years. Two of her sons went to war, one of them being killed while in action in France. Surviving are eight children: Mrs. Ada Kohlman, Charles, Clara, Arthur, Richard, Eugene, Ralph and Mrs. Grace Sanford."

- Death of his father. "Funeral services for Max Freudenberg, who died on Sunday of heart trouble, will be held from his late residence 63 Concord street, Jersey City, this afternoon at two o'clock. The Rev. Charles C. Cain of Simpson M.E. Church will officiate. Interment will be in Flower Hill Cemetery. The deceased was in his sixty-third year and had lived in Jersey City for several years. In addition to his wife Eloise (nee Lindauer), he is survived by several children."
