Johannes Cashow

Johannes Cashow (1701-1777) was born in 1701 to Jacob Cashow (c1675-1758) and Anna Maria Rapalje. He married Marÿtje Symonsen. In some documents he is referred to as "Johannes Cassau".

His biography: "Johannes Cashow, son of Jacob Cashow and Anna Maria Rapalje, baptized September 21, 1701, in Brooklyn; buried July 25, 1777; married Marytje Symonsen, supposed daughter of Frederick Symonsen and Lea Fonteyn; buried May 9, 1772. August 5, 1769, he sold land to his son Mouris Cashow, 13 acres between Wolver Hollow and Norridge (East Norwich), for £200."
His son's biography. "Frederick Cashow, son of Johannes Cashow and Marÿtje Symonsen, married Maragriete Hardenberg, daughter of Jannetje and Henderickus Dorlant. Issue: … Rem Cashow, married Hendericke Hegeman, married Maratÿe Bennet."
