When the sky is torn. |
Itha alssamao inshaqqat
|
| 084:002 |
And it allowed its Lord, and was ready. |
Waathinat lirabbiha wahuqqat
|
| 084:003 |
And when the land is stretched. |
Wa-itha al-ardu muddat
|
| 084:004 |
And it spits out what is in it and becomes empty. |
Waalqat ma feeha watakhallat
|
| 084:005 |
And it permits its Lord, and is ready. |
Waathinat lirabbiha wahuqqat
|
| 084:006 |
O man, you will be returning to your Lord with your actions and meeting Him. |
Ya ayyuha al-insanu innaka kadihun ila rabbika kadhan famulaqeehi
|
| 084:007 |
So whoever is given his record in his right. |
Faama man ootiya kitabahu biyameenihi
|
| 084:008 |
He will then receive an easy reckoning. |
Fasawfa yuhasabu hisaban yaseeran
|
| 084:009 |
And he will return to his family in joy! |
Wayanqalibu ila ahlihi masrooran
|
| 084:010 |
And as for he who is given his record behind his back. |
Waamma man ootiya kitabahu waraa thahrihi
|
| 084:011 |
He will invoke his destruction. |
Fasawfa yadAAoo thubooran
|
| 084:012 |
And he will enter a blazing Fire. |
Wayasla saAAeeran
|
| 084:013 |
He was with his people in joy! |
Innahu kana fee ahlihi masrooran
|
| 084:014 |
He thought he would not be returned. |
Innahu thanna an lan yahoora
|
| 084:015 |
No, He is ever seeing of him. |
Bala inna rabbahu kana bihi baseeran
|
| 084:016 |
So, I swear by the redness of dusk. |
Fala oqsimu bialshshafaqi
|
| 084:017 |
And the night and what it is driven on. |
Waallayli wama wasaqa
|
| 084:018 |
And the moon when it is full. |
Waalqamari itha ittasaqa
|
| 084:019 |
You will ride a vessel upon a vessel. |
Latarkabunna tabaqan AAan tabaqin
|
| 084:020 |
So what is the matter with them that they do not believe? |
Fama lahum la yu/minoona
|
| 084:021 |
And when the Quran is being related to them, they do not prostrate. |
Wa-itha quri-a AAalayhimu alqur-anu la yasjudoona
|
| 084:022 |
No, those who have rejected are in denial. |
Bali allatheena kafaroo yukaththiboona
|
| 084:023 |
And God is more aware of what they gather. |
WaAllahu aAAlamu bima yooAAoona
|
| 084:024 |
So inform them of a painful retribution. |
Fabashshirhum biAAathabin aleemin
|
| 084:025 |
Except for those who believe and do good works, they will have a reward that will not end. |
Illa allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati lahum ajrun ghayru mamnoonin
|
