Act No. 13 of 1938. First published on 22 August 1938 in Government Gazette Extraordinary No. 2558, and came into force upon publication. Repealed on 31 May 1961 by the Republic of South Africa Constitution Act, 1961.

To amend the South Africa Act, 1909.

Be it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate and the House of Assembly of the Union of South Africa, as follows:―


Amendment of Section 14 of the South Africa Act, 1909, as amended by section 1 of Act 34 of 1925.

1. Section fourteen of the South Africa Act, 1909 is hereby amended by the substitution for the word “eleven” of the word “twelve”.


Short title.

2. This Act shall be called the South Africa Act Amendment Act, 1938.
