SpikeShroom, I think these should be included. I can't speak for any policies or guidelines, but generally what I've seen in other works is that any page not marked as gray is transcluded, including half title and copyright notice pages. Also, if these pages are not transcluded, the tool in the index page to verify if a work is fully transcluded will label the pages as red. If the redundancy of the half titles is a problem, the second half title can be moved to the Introduction. Prospectprospekt (talk) 18:41, 7 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Sorry I meant My Native Heath, not introduction. I am going to add back the pages because the new texts template requires that works be "fully transcluded." Prospectprospekt (talk) 23:54, 7 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for bringing this up! I asked around on the Wikisource Discord and it seems like people are divided on exactly what the goal of transclusion is. Some say it should include all non-empty pages, others say there are creative liberties in making the digital edition of a book (I tend toward the latter philosophy). I may bring it up on the Scriptorium at some point since I wasn't able to find a specific policy that covers this issue. Until then though, good call—best to add the pages back.
