Copyvio & Incorrect License...

According to the linked biography Beatrix Potter died in 1946. This means that the authour died less than 50 years ago. Consequently by current Uk rules, the work is NOT yet out of copyright. ShakespeareFan00 07:04, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

To summarise my discussion with ShakespeareFan00 in #wikisource, this images are a part of the Project Gutenberg eBook. Presumably, the book went through P.G.'s copyright clearance. While it is probably a good idea to look into it further, I don't think you can say that because the images look too new that they couldn't be public domain... You can find scans from a 1985 (re-)printing(?) [1] with the images in black and white. --Benn Newman 21:38, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Copyediting
