Usage

This template exists to create a small amount of padding (slightly narrower than a standard space) between a double quotation mark and a single quotation mark. E.g.:

She picked up the book and flipped through the contents, noticing something she liked. "'Nightfall' is my favorite short story," she said.

The .2em width is enough for the reader to notice that there's more than just a " , but narrow enough that they're not distracted.
