Usage

Purpose of template is to add a template to define a meta category, and to stop categorisation through using HotCat.

Meta categories should only have other categories within them, and not contain pages.

Note This template trims leading and trailing whitespace from its parameters. This allows the use of a more readable multi-line layout.

This template has {{plain sister}} embedded within and the meta category should be added to the corresponding general category in Wikidata.

Categorisation

This template automatically categorises category namespace pages into Category:Meta categories. If the category isn't empty, it also categorises it into Category:Non-empty meta categories.
