Bug report

[edit]

The para that begins "Many books number their figures" is displaying "{\displaystyle" over the chequered square of an unloaded image twice, and is displaying the anchor as "Fig. n}". I'm not sure why, but Template:Brace2 has the same issue, while Template:Brace3 displays as intended. Probably something odd in my browser, I'd guess. HLHJ (talk) 01:51, 29 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Odd use for combined figures

[edit]

Eivie, I think I may have misused the template here: Page:Spectacles and eyeglasses- their forms, mounting and proper adjustment 1923 (5th edition).pdf/37. Please let me know if I've messed up. HLHJ (talk) 03:58, 22 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, the template is not set up to apply 2 figure labels to 1 image. Here's an example of something similar, if you want to do it that way. |caption= and |caption2= could probably be made to handle this too, with some heavy CSS support. Eievie (talk) 04:30, 22 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you. It looks perfect. I added {{anchor|Fig.5|Fig.6}}, so the internal links would work, and they do. I've left the "num" field blank, and hope that won't mess anything up. HLHJ (talk) 03:34, 23 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
