The Bar-tender's Guide/Hot Gin Toddy
Hot Gin Toddy.
(Use small bar-glass, hot.)
- Take 1 tea-spoonful of powdered white sugar.
- Take 1 wine-glass of Holland, or Old Tom gin (as preferred).
Dissolve the sugar in boiling water, add the gin, and pour boiling water into the glass until it is two-thirds full.
